"You are the result of the love of thousands." Voces Solis presents The Love of Thousands, a concert about how we are changed by love—love that is romantic, familial, cosmic, and sustaining. The repertoire is inspired by Reena Esmail’s The Love of Thousands, a piece that explores how our existence relies on the love of thousands of people who came before us: parents, grandparents, adoptive families, ancestors stretching back through time.
Works by James MacMillan, Gwyneth Walker, Jonathan Dove, Roxanna Panufnik and others, examine how we are changed by love; how we are the products of love received; and how, in the end, we will be measured by the love we bestow.
Voces Solis is committed to educating, inspiring, and challenging its members and audience through exceptional performances of the highest quality choral chamber music.
